On Wednesday, April 29, 2015 in C. Kranidioti Hall of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the PRAKSIS in cooperation with the CMT Prooptiki presented the results and conclusions of their research study. The purpose of the conference was to identify the illegal phenomenon of prostitution and trafficking in women for sexual / economic exploitation (trafficking). The conference was organized under the auspices of the Office of the National Rapporteur on Trafficking in Human Beings.
Guests from the political, academic, scientific and the professional community, as well as representatives from organizations, public and local authorities, a large part of NGOs and representatives of migrant communities were present with an incredibly active participation! The aim of this study was to introduce the phenomenon in its current form and dimension, to evaluate the policies implemented so far and to propose corrective intervention ideas.
